Spunky

Spunky is being very bad. It started yesterday. I was sitting outside and kota went inside to get a trash bag. He came out but didn't get the door shut. Then Kota tells me spunky got out and went under the house. UGH! It took me forever to get him out. Had to go open the crawl space door and entice him with a can of tuna fish. Now he just sits at the door waiting for another oppurtunity to get out. None of my cats are outside cats. But I would like to get something like my inlaws have. They have an outside cage for their cats to get to. They installed a kitty door so they can go out whenever they want to. And that way they are protected and can't run away. There are different shelves for their cats to lay on and they just love it! They even go out in winter!
I have alot of work to do today, this house is a disaster area. Between the boy and the animals! the cats are always knocking things over and making messes. I am going to put kota to work today. He is old enough to pick up some of his stuff and help clean. Plus it might deter him from making more messes. LOL right!
Looks like it will be another pleasant day here. I love these low humidity days! I am going to finish my coffee and then get busy.
enjoy your day

Hey, Mary! Just want to stop by and say howdy. Glad to know things are as "spunky" as ever at your place. I'm trying to get back in blogging gear, after so much craziness I couldn't see or think straight. Life can be a ferris wheel sometimes! Hang on and take care....

Your Spunky looks just like my Smokey. But Smokey is an indoor/outdoor cat who prefers the outdoors. We let her go. She's out more than she's in. I used to worry about critters getting her, and tried to force her to stay in. However, she was so miserable with that that we decided to let her take her own good chances. Five years have passed, and she keeps coming home.

That's a neat idea with the caged area outside! My cat Luna also got outside yesterday... fortunately she couldn't run very far on our balcony, and just hid under the swing. Still, it freaked me out because she might've run out on to the ledge of our building. Not to mention, we're not supposed to have pets in the first place.
