Behind my house our landlord has two big building for storage for his company. Feral cats live there. Mama cat has litters all the time and i put food and water out, especially in winter. But I have never been able to get close to any of the kittens. Last night my neighbor texted me and asked if i had met dumpster cat. (we currently have one of those big trash dumpsters alongside our house, been clearing out 8 years of accumulated junk). I went outside and here is this tiny black and white kitten. She calls him oreo instead of dumpster cat. Apparently he lives under the dumpster. Not sure why his mama abandoned him but he seems in good health, very frisky and loves to be petted. He does have some crusty stuff around his eyes so I might go out today for some antibiotic eye ointment for him. I told my neighbor she must be the cat whisperer.
I think my cat, Mr. Lucky Cat, would love a little friend to play with. Just need to sweet talk hubby into it.

In other good news, I have a job interview on Tuesday. It's with our state's dept of natural resources. I had interviewed there back in April but nothing came of it. Wish me luck please!
