it seems the elderly are targets for all scams and unfortunately some will fall for it. we got rid of our landline. on my cell i have an app and i can block all calls that are not on my contact list.
we don't have a landline anymore for our phone. we each have a cell phone. I downloaded an app that blocks calls, i set it to block all calls not on my contact list.
My car loan i had when I was working was definitely out of our means. When I lost my job i lost the car.
Thanks kristy, it can be a cold unfeeling world. The rescue group I got stitch from has been rescuing dogs all winter. Those left out in the cold. I have to believe we just don't hear about all the good.

my husband just can't seem to find himself buying me a present for Christmas present! So I buy my own. This year I found a beautiful ring on amazon that is reasonable priced. Since he won't buy for me, he has to suffer the consequences of me buying my own.

I love your weather updates! I am still waiting for a big snowstorm. But we usually get them in January or February. After that I am ready for spring.
