The Big Topic

Well, although I am ashamed to admit this, here goes. Tomorrow our house is being sold at the sheriff's sale. We tried everything and nothing was working. It was never this hard before and we have gotten behind before. Don't feel too sorry for me, it is our fault after all.
Thats the real reason I have not been blogging or commenting like I normally do. The sad part is, I know so many other people who are going through this or who have already gone through it.
I am very emotional today, as can be expected. But we will get through this too. As long as I have hubby and he has me, it doesn't matter where we live. And of course the world famous Kota! I have blessings and I have things I am grateful for.
anyway thats the news.

So sorry Mary. It's happening to so many folks. My friend just lost his house. It's sad. You're tough... and I know you'll get through this.

I am so sorry to hear the unfortunate news. But you should never feel shamed. You are not alone in your situation. It sounds like this is happening to a lot of good people out there. You will persevere. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts.

Forclosures are up this year 55% over last year! Yet the President insists that we are not in a recession. He's right, for once. I think "depression" is the more correct term.
My heart goes out to you and your family!!!!

I know this is a rough time for you, but it will all work out. I remember having to go on welfare in the early 1970's when there was a recession and my 1st husband just graduated from college and couldn't get a job. I was pregnant and we were broke. But, it all worked out... just took some time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Love ya dear friend - Annie :o)

So very sad you have to experience this, Mary. My heart goes out to you. And it is tragic how many people are going through this same thing. But I believe you and your hubbie will work hard to get through this, make whatever positive changes you need to together, and move through this difficult time to a brighter day. I join your many blog friends in surrounding you with a ((((HUGE GROUP HUG))))!! You are not alone. Love to you all!! Please keep us posted....

There are too many people losing their homes WITHOUT help from the government--sorry, Republicans, but sometimes the governmnet HAS to step in!
Hey, it may be crowded but you, hubby and Kota are welcome here and I always have 'goodies' to eat!!!!
What do you do now???
comment by greatmartin on Aug 18, 2008 4:03 PM ()
It is the main story here. Too many pages of the newspaper are full of foreclosure and sale/auctions. I feel your hurt. God bless you.

I don't think you should be ashamed at all. I can understand how you would feel sad because it is your home. I wish there was something that I could do to help. So many people are in your shoes, though, so there is nothing to be ashamed of [HUGS]
