Not Gonna Do It

No more complaining. Whatever happens, happens. We will get through it and come out the other side.
Its been a nice relaxing weekend. We watched movies yesterday. Nothing remarkable, although I watched a Stephen King movie, Hearts in Atlantis. It followed the book very closely. Normally the movies aren't worth watching because the books go into so much more detail.
Kota is getting excited about the start of a new school year. Thursday is the big day! We have had many talks about how to deal with difficult situations. We have even play acted different scenarios.
Friday night I got to see daughter's new place. It is such a cute little house! I am so proud of her! She is living with a best friend of hers and the friends boyfriend. These two girls have been best buds since middle school. I didn't really get any ideas of what I could buy her for her new place. I might just get her a gift card. There are little things she needs and her taste is a little different than mine.
Hubby had to go out on a call last night around 10. By 12:30 he wasn't home yet. so we are letting him sleep today.
Not sure what I am doing today. Might do some cleaning, might just relax. Its a beautiful day out! Enjoy your sunday

Are you getting over your cold? School has been started here for about 2 weeks, I'm glad Kota is excited, hopefully this will be a better year for him. Have you heard anymore about Wallyworld??

Another word for complaining is venting. Everyone needs time when they can vent about things. I don't look at it as a negative thing unless it's all a person does. Yours is not a negative thing. Many times, we vent in order to heal from something...we vent to release emotions...we vent in order to move on. So...vent away.

Complaining is okay. Sometimes one just needs to let things out. I'm a firm believer that everything is in God's hands if we just allow it to be there. Too often we want to solve all our problems ourselves instead of just trusting. JR and I are really working on that trust part of our lives. With diesal so high, we aren't making it in the trucking industry. We have decisions to make at this point, but somehow, I know it will all work out. It will all work out for you, too.

Love ya - Annie :o)

Rolling pins are supposed to be a 'lucky' gift to give someone when they move into a new home. Hope everything goes well with school next term, kota is a lovely boy and hopefully he's learned to have a little more confidence with dealing with difficult situations. Don't be suprised if he comes home saying he is having nice days in school now.<-- for Kota and you.

Exactly right…in the coming out the other side of it.

There’s only ever been a few movies where I thought ‘nearly as good as the book’…can’t think what they are at the moment tho.

Gift card would be a great solution.

The fact that Kota is looking forward to school is a really good sign of how things will go.
We all complain from time to time. I think it is pretty normal.

Glad you are feeling better, Mary, and more positive. Hard to believe that school starts this coming week, and your new job, too, I think. So it will be a busy week for you, and I hope you relax today and enjoy a nice day. As for me, this ol' jock and cheering sport nut be relishing every minute of the Olympics!!!!
