Rare

This is a day when Ted doesn't have an appointment at the V.
A. hospital. It has become very rare. I hate to see him go downhill this way and hope a diagnosis is in the offing.

I did all my usual errands and then cleaned out my closet.
My bad!!! My life will be simpler now and I only have four
more to go. I wanted to get this out of the way before a
charity pick up tomorrow.

I have a new book by Sue Miller to look forward to and then I have to rack my brain to think up something different to have for dinner. We had tilapia last night and I had to
give Ted's to Rex. He hasn't had any appetite for a month and it is frustrating. He has been living on ice cream.

Have you tried the soft lemonaide ices? They are so good
and really refreshing on a hot day. Very good for people
who love icecream and have a cholesterol problem.

There are so many things that could cause his symptoms, hope the MRI gives some clues.

So sorry Ted is ill. I hope the VA can figure out what is wrong and get him on some medication that will help. You're in my thoughts.

I will. His symptoms are frightening. Much like ALS but I haven't mentioned it.

So sorry to hear about Ted. That has to be scary as well as frustrating.

It is scary. He has an ultra sound this morning but didn't want me to go with him. He took a cane with him because he is so wobbly.

They have ruled heart and liver and blocked arteries. His symptoms are fatigue and neurological in nature. They haven't done the MRI yet.

Good luck to Ted... that must be frustrating--not having a diagnosis and making multiple trips as well as not having free time to enjoy the summer.

He watches tv most of the time but he does enjoy the yard looking good and
all the flowers and plants. The backyard looks like a painting with
everything in bloom.

Those soft lemonade ices sound good, I don't like really hard frozen things like Popsicles. Creamsicles, I like those a lot. Tell Ted we say hi, hope he gets to feeling better.

I thought of Gary when I bought them because he loves gelato and I think these are utterly devoid of fat and sooo good.

Geez I guess I didn't realize how bad Ted was feeling. I'm sorry to hear that... Did Rex enjoy the Tilapia tho? Never had those ice's but they sound good!

Rex loved the fish but then he is a real pig. While we eat he puts his nose on our knees and gives us pitiful looks.
