I don't even have severe weather to talk about. It is sunny and cool and we actually had a rain this week. It has been a long time since we heard the clatter of rain on the roof. The jr college has a play going tonight and I would like to go but I don't think ted can be persuaded. It is the The Adam's Family, a musical version and the brochure had the hand that walks alone on it. I thought that was from a Peter Lorre movie. I am very set in my ways about all the old horror movies. I was and still am a fan of Paul Douglas in the wolf man ones. I always felt sorry for him because he really did not want to maim and kill. I must lay in a supply of candy for All Hallows eve. The kids are ferried into this neighborhood like crazy. They know most of us are old and softies for little ones all costumed up so they come from all around. I will answer the door until about nine and then leave the candy on the porch with a sign that says, Please just take one piece. It works pretty well. I hope Nadine hides her black self somewhere until the candy frenzy is over. Halloween can be dangerous for a black cat.
