Today, I am supposed to have a repair man put a new mother board in the dishwasher. I hope this one works!! I think the original ones were faulty and it takes all kinds of manipulation to make them work. I hope my new one will be better. Hopefully we are finished with funerals and death and dying in my family. It has been sad. Our Laura got a promotion and has a van to drive to and from work. I am glad she won't be using the subway so much but I think our little Laura driving in NYC. The child has guts. I really miss her. We are having lovely autumn weather and I am enjoying it even though we still need a lot of rain to catch up. Jose and I still walk every morning and it is a pleasure to be up and out and about. I have had a lot of handy men working on the yard. It is tolerable now but I have come to hate squirrels with a passion. We have two pecan trees in the back yard and they are constantly cracking them before they are ripe and carpeting the yard with them. We have yet to get any pecans. I have read that fox urine is the only thing that will keep them away but I don't know any foxes intimately. So glad our friends in Florida are safe.
