I have been reading a book by Olivia Goldsmith about three
almost impossibly evil men and their dastardly deeds to their wives. It is such a bitter story that I am tossing it
back in the pile that goes to the library.
I like men a lot. My two first husbands were perfectly nice
men. They just didn't suit me. My third husband, (the lawyer) was an absolute scumball but Ted is certainly a good
person. He is kind, generous to a fault and has a sweet,
forgiving nature.
I think it is entirely possible to have loving, platonic
friendships with the opposite sex. I don't subscribe to the
belief that men will hurt you if you get involved with them.
That kind of bitterness is unrealistic and will hurt you and
keep you from having a decent relationship.
We all make mistakes but it is never a mistake to be a
caring, loving, nurturing person.
