Blocking is when you wet the item and then stretch it out to the shape it's supposed to be. I actually started blocking it yesterday and it's still sopping wet along the bottom. I hate waiting for a blocked item to dry. I just want to throw it in the dryer but that would defeat the purpose so it's back to working on another Pussy Foot Blanket while I wait.

I found a pamphlet at the local Fall Fair last weekend with the name and number of who to contact to rent a table at the Farmer's Market. I'm hoping to unload a few tote boxes of hand knit baby clothes, fingerless gloves and hand plied yarn if the penny pinching town folk are feeling generous. Then I'll have some empty boxes in which to store all those lovely sweaters I'm going to knit for myself.
