I forgot to mention that the Big Blue Shawl has now been paid for and I am just waiting for the yarn I ordered to arrive.
Meanwhile, I've been busy with something else. Something I am just dying to show you but it's a surprise for Nursekim's birthday, this coming Thursday. I will post pictures after she opens her gift.
I have also been trying to finish that pair of wool gloves I started a while ago to keep my hands warm while delivering the papers. I'm knitting them in the round, a first for me, and it's not going well. I can see I have a few adjustments to make to this pattern.
Then there is the green, wool, tunic pullover that's only about four inches along. It will probably be too big for me by the time I finish it. I have now dropped 34 pounds and am in desparate need of some new bras. Even the size 16 pants I bought shortly before Christmas are feeling a tad roomy. I'm off to get my beauty sleep. Nighty night.
