I'm so sorry. I know how disappointed you will all be when I tell you I didn't keep a diary this year. But cheer up. I do remember the high points and will blog about them as they spring to mind.

SPROING!

The day before we were to leave for Nova Scotia I did what I like to call, "The Works". The Works consists of shower, shave, trim nails and slather myself with body lotion. Now, when I say "shave" I mean more than just the legs and pits. I curtail the tendrils peeking out of my nostrils, remove all traces of my mustache and various odd hairs that appear to have migrated from the top of my head and trim the eyebrows. I have a little personal trimmer for the facial hair. It has an attachment for trimming eyebrows. Well, remember how stressed out I was just before the flight out? First I trimmed the nose hair, then I shaved the mustache and lastly I trimmed the brows but I forgot to slip on the trimming attachment and began my vacation minus my left eyebrow. Fortunately the weather was sunny, most days, and I'm so thankful for sunglasses.

OK, maybe that wasn't a high point. Here's a high point. I came home with a suitcase worth of Nova Scotian wool, a book on how to make rag rugs and a hook with which to make them.
