DH and I drove over to Nanaimo to attend the Silly Boat Regatta with Mom and Baby Sister. We had a great time.
Many of the contestants were in costume.
This one was the overall winner.
The spinal boat was the Chiropractors entry.
Manually operated paddle boat. Contestants had a time limit of four hours in which to build their boats and could only use recycled materials.
This fellow was named Nibbles. Note the blood on the skin and shirt of the guy on the left side of the photo.
On your mark! Get set! The boat on the middle right of the photo is one of three S.S. Minnows that were used in the filming of the old TV show Gilligan's Island.

DH, Baby Sister, Mom. Stone steps do not make for comfortable seats.
All proceeds from the Silly Boat Regatta go to the Nanaimo Child Development Centre.
