A toast to my continued good health. I had another appointment with my quack, Dr Duck. My blood pressure is excellent. My lungs are clear. My heartbeat is strong. No lumps in or around the girls. My eyes, ears and throat look good. He gave me a prescription for some stronger allergy pills. He's pleased with my 36 pound loss. Although I've lost another quarter of an inch this past year he said the total one inch loss in height was nothing to worry about and that I don't need to have a bone density test. Everything was going great. It was the best doctor's appointment I've ever had...........until he asked if my parents were still living.
Me: My mother is but my father passed away four years ago.
Dr D: How old was he?
Me: 84.
Dr D: He had heart trouble, didn't he?
Me: Years ago but he died from colon cancer.
and that's when he said he'd schedule a colonoscopy for me. Oh joy. Lucky me. :o{
