We love broccoli! Post as many recipes as you like.
I was going to make a comment but now I need to get myself a large mug of hot tea.
No, a homeless person (I think). I heard him climbing out the window but thought it was the cat locked in the garage. I went to open the garage door to let the cat out and discovered my car's interior light on but no cat. The intruder had closed the window behind him, possibly thinking to return that night but we locked it and put a stout stick in the track so the window wouldn't open more than an inch, even if it was unlocked. Wow, that was a long time ago. We haven't been able to park the car in the garage in decades.
I never ends. DH seemed a bit miffed that I hadn't fixed the toilet after he took the time and trouble to tell me what parts we needed, where to buy them and how to install them. He was so miffed he fixed it himself. To show my appreciation I sewed a button on his shirt.
I remember snow drifts making it difficult to open the door. I remember frost etched windows and I remember ice encrusted trees. Talk about a Winter wonderland.....beautiful but I'm so glad I live on the Wet Coast now. Stay warm.
One of these years I'm going to add up what Christmas gifts cost me. Birthdays are easy. We send a check to those over 12.
Don't look at me. I don't sit on our livingroom furniture. We bought it because it matched the fireplace bricks not because it's comfortable.
Glad you had such a great weekend. We had our garage broken into but it was only someone wanting a warm place to spend the night.
Watching sports all weekend would depress me too. Black Fiday is an American tradition, so why did a locally own furniture store have a Black Friday sale? The Brick has already started it's Boxing Day Sale. Cyber Monday is cool! No shoving or pushing. No pepper spray in the face. I can concentrate on, 'do I want it' instead of, 'can I grab it before someone else beats me to it'.
I lived in Sarnia when I was a kid. I remember snow banks, twice my size. I remember the horror stories of children and pets being sucked inside the city snow blowers. I remember Snow Days!
So many friends have come and gone. It's nice to see you back.
I'll bet the eggs pull some of the chocolate to the top of the pie when it's baking. My sweet tooth is begging.
