Well, so much for the extended fall-like weather we've been having in northeastern Ontario!
Temps are hovering just above zero degrees & it's been raining like hell since last night.
I cancelled my hair appointment for this morning because I was worried about it freezing up & getting caught in that mess! I'll just have to wear a turban around my head until Thursday - I can't stand the look of it - all shaggy & out of shape . .
Better to be safe with long, thick, straggley hair than looking sleek & demure sitting in your car - in the ditch somewhere out of town; that's what I say.
And to add insult to injury - all this water & these ice pellets that are bombarding us right now is suppose to turn to that lovely, long awaited, white stuff called snow . .
Like I said, I'm really thankful that I've nowhere else to be & there's nowhere else I'd rather be in this weather than HOME!
However, 'tis the Season when you live in this latitude.
