Hey, it's been a year and a half since I've been here.
I'm not sure why I decided to check out my old blog, but here I am - a little older & hopefully wiser - although the jury is out on that last one.
I was chatting with a friend of mine last week & she asked me if I still "blogged."
I said not lately.
She asked why & I really didn't have one particular reason to give other than it seemed that my life took a different direction & I just didn't bother to write anymore.
Yet here I am - banging on the keyboard like old times.
It feels good.
If any of my old friends are still here "HI!!"
Hope everybody is well & perhaps we can reconnect again.
I must confess that I spend a lot of time on F/B - catching up on local events & friends & some not so local.
Yes, that definitely is one of the reasons that I haven't been here for so long.
I spend too much time on F/B.
Perhaps it's time to get back to basics & start writing again.
I did it daily for several years with pictures to boot & must confess, was slightly impressed with myself.
I loved it when I cracked myself up laughing - something that doesn't happen as often as I'd like these days.
No promises (to you or myself) but I'd really like to try & get back into the swing of writing & posting my thoughts - for what they're worth.
So, maybe I'll be back . . .
