If you really want some cool weather (6C), I've got some chores that need doin.
Looks like back breaking work. I think I'll just stick to the carding, spinning and knitting and leave the shearing to someone else.
DH and I will have been married for 37 years on Valentine's Day. I don't enjoy duck. It's too mybloggers. We missed our turkey leftovers as we didn't dine at home. We'll make up for it at Christmas.
Christmas is coming soon enough. More TURKEY!
Love the poetry! I hate olives. I remember my sister sticking the pimientos in her nostrils in an effort to gross me out. It worked.
DH was offended by my use of the word cr@p so I stopped saying it, until he let loose a stream of cursing that would have made a sailor blush, after getting cut off in downtown Vancouver traffic. I believe there are times when cursing is not only acceptable but necessary: breaking one's toe after slamming it into the edge of the door, slicing one's hand open with a hunting knife and sitting on a knitting needle, pointy end up are several examples.
Stick a strawberry on that whipped cream and you'd have a Twinkie Trifle.
All things in moderation......except for the "maryjane". Pot doesn't agree with me.
I enjoy listening to Dido and Shania Twain. Christmas but if they start giving gifts on Thanksgiving it will be a tie. We don't have Black Friday in Canada but we do have Boxing Day, the day after Christmas. The stores slash prices on everything that didn't sell before Christmas. I celebrate Boxing Day by staying home and eating the chocolates I got for Christmas.
Maybe the earrings were moving and that fat cat was wishing he could pounce.
I won't miss any of it. I haven't eaten white bread since I met DH and if I want a sweet treat I'll go to a real bakery. Twinkies, HoHos and DingDongs. Do you think they named that junk for kid appeal?
Welcome back. Nice to see I'm not the only homebody here.
I enjoy visiting relatives too and yes, it is so nice to get home.
