Congratulations! I gained 6lbs on vacation. I'm only loosing 1lb a week but at least I'm not gaining.

For a while we kept getting e-mails from a car dealership in Calgary. They thought we were customers who were bringing in our car for servicing. I told them they had the wrong e-mail address but they kept sending us invoices. I finally told them if they didn't stop I would contact their customer and tell him who gave us all his personal information. They didn't stop so I did as threatened. We haven't received anything from the Calgary dealership since then. We recently received an e-mail from a husband (Hub)to his wife/girlfriend (Honey) telling her what time his flight was arriving. I hope he isn't expecting her to pick him up.
Teachers are on strike, again, here. They are so concerned with the children's education they are refusing to teach. Apparently, more money will make them better teachers.
I LOVE sci-fi; the space, scientific, time travel stuff not the horror (vampires and witches) that sci-fi is often labelled by ignorance TV guide employees. The Day the Earth Stood Still is the first sci-fi movie and Twilight Zone/Outer Limits were the first sci-fi TV shows I ever saw. They awakened my imagination.
I speak from personal experience when I say, some people have a death grip on the purse strings.

My printer is smearing black ink over all my copies and has been for the past year. I think it's time for a new one.

Some eccentric people on the knitting forum didn't get it. They couldn't see what was so odd about wearing neckwarmers on their heads until I posted the picture. I have no idea what they were envisioning beforehand.

Is your car really that gorgeous green or is it just reflection of the surroundings? Your flowers are beautiful. We tried to give Angel a curfew but now she hides and stays outside until we've gone to bed. I swear she's worse than a teenager.
