Just a quick note to my MyBloggers friends!

Dakota started 8th grade this week! How did he get to be 13 years old??? He stood up for a 6th grade girl who was getting bullied on his bus. And trust me, one look at the size of my boy and you would quickly back down to. Funny thing is, he doesn't have a mean bone in his body!

We have to do some shopping today, new school clothes! We've been so broke catching up on bills that we had to wait for this paycheck to get his things. So aggravating.

Work is still promising me a raise but since it is a state job, the paperwork moves slower than a snail. Still lots of drama at work but I tend to shut my ears and just keep my head down.

Daughter is doing very well, had her first doctor appointment and she is 9 weeks pregnant. It is amazing how far technology has come. The ultrasound showed an actual baby and not just some blob!

Seems like we didn't have much of a summer. The pool was too cold to get into most of the summer and we never even made it to the beach!

Hubby is doing well, putting up with all of my ranting about work. No bee stings this summer so that's a huge relief. He continues to carry his epi pen wherever he goes. Along with cans of wasp spray!

Overall things are fine here, a little hectic. But we are healthy and have a roof over our heads.
