Eccentric People

I think we need more of them. I get tired of cookie cutter
sameness. People who stand out because they think outside
the box and are creative and who are not afraid to voice
an unpopular opinion.

Ted and I go to the same hair stylist and when we went today,
he fit in but I had to air my unpopular feminist and Democratic views. Since the beauty shop is next door to
Hobby Lobby I made my unpopular stance of boycotting it known.

Everyone but me thinks the Green family is wonderful. So
Christian, and they do not seem to realize that they are
trying to shove their creationist views down everyone else's
throat. I love children dearly but planned families work
better. Look at the hordes in third world nations born to
poverty and abuse. Siring one hundred children makes you
less of a man in my estimation, not a great example of
manhood.

The Senatorial election is so important in this state. The
most popular contender is a tea party minded ex youth
minister. Need I say more.

What a shame. A car is a necessity and not a luxury when you live far
from all services.

We (in Tiffin OH) celebrate the opening of the PAT CATAN'S store. It occupies the large space at the end of one of our outdoor malls where STAPLES was located. Staples shot themselves in the foot because they pushed their Internet sales above the retail store numbers and closed many shops. PAT CATAN'S is a craft, art and floral store, and their art supplies are just as complete as are Hobby Lobby's. Maybe more. The new store does not carry open back ready-made frames, though. I love local sources. PC's is an Ohio company, too.

We don't have that store but we do have Michael's and we can order from
Dick Blick for the modest supplies that we need.

I thought this post was going to be about me - I'm eccentric.

I guess most of us on this blog are. That makes it fun.

I applaud your being outspoken. There is no Hobby Lobby here and I wish there were so I could activate against it. Today at the market, I made a joke when my tab was higher than I had expected -- I said, "There goes the mortgage" and the bag boy said, "yeah, thanks to Obama." My only hope is that he forgets to vote.

Obama is to blame for global warming, the Ebola outbreak, gang violence,
drugs, cancer, earthquakes and dementia. All the ills of society are resting on his shoulders. How illogical can you get? I hope that kid stays home on election day.

You rabble-rouser, you.

I know. We need some critical thinking in Oklahoma.

Left-leaning people are a minority where I am also. But I don't get in too much trouble!

I am surprised! I am always in trouble.

You do not fit in with your state, that's for sure. Hopefully more and more people will begin to see the light! Dare to dream.

I blame our newspaper for a lot of it. It has always been extremely
conservative and it sways a lot of opinion. People seem to think if
it is in the newspaper or on Fox news, then it has to be true.
