More Computer Crafts

Still haven't gotten that clock kit, since work has kept me in place. Part of what I have to do is write short descriptive lines over and over in different versions. It is maddening. The only thing that keeps me working is to jump up every half hour or so, go do something else -- like run outside and pull a few weeds, water the flowers -- and then go back to work. A few days ago, it was taking apart the apple keyboard that kept me focused.

But it's fun to think of a couple of additional craft projects I want to do soon. These include: Making a tabletop Christmas tree out of this box of old memory sticks. They have at least one hole punched in each, so I could use those to attach them to a metal frame I have, an old Xmas card holder.

Before that I would like to make a bracelet or leather cuff out of a processor chip I have, the old kind with the eye. It has the little metal spoke legs so it should push into a piece of leather fairly well.

Well, we'll see what I manage to do of these.

Once you see some people's sculptures done with electronic pieces, it's easy to get hooked.

I used to have a loft full of electronic equipment and parts. I donated most of it to the Westinghouse Museum in Boston. They came and packed it all up. You might have found it fascinating.
