We have had a wonderful, cozy at home, day with soft,gentle
rain falling steadily. It is the kind of weather that calls
for chili and a good movie. we have had both.

The rain gave me a reason to stay in and bake. I love
the fragrance of home made bread and something simmering
in the crock pot when the sky is dripping. We get so
little rain in Oklahoma that we cherish every drop.

I have a good book waiting for me. It is all about micro
decisions that are manageable and still lead to good habits.
Who would have thought I would still be reading self-help
books at eighty five! But then I should have mastered
having an uncluttered kitchen cabinet by now. The thought is
if you make a tiny change that isn't hard, then it leads to
bigger changes.
