Mother's Day wasn't quite what I expected. DH received a phone call from his brother letting him know that their mother's condition had declined since she was admitted to the hospital. We still don't know what happened to cause her to end up there and we still don't have any details about what exactly is wrong with her but her doctor feels she hasn't got much longer. We drove out to Nanaimo to visit her that evening and we are going again tonight. I know I've never had anything nice to say about her but she is the woman who brought my husband into this world and for that I will be forever grateful.
