OK, so it's the neighbours new fence. We let their workmen take over our driveway. What more could they ask?
This was the side Laurel Hedge as it was when we bought the house over 28 years ago. As it was at the farm long before our house was built.

All traces of the hedge have been removed.
Beginning the fence.
Almost done. What a mess.
Everything done but the staining. We were told to wait three weeks befor staining. It's been over three weeks. Now we're just waiting for a few days of dry weather.
It looks very nice. But it's no better a sound barrier between us and the bloody pack of dogs than the hedge was. Very disappointing.
