She is out of the convalescent home and back in her own house. She looks so much better than she did a month ago, almost spry. I suspect being back home has a lot to do with it. She is no longer bent over, hobbling along with her cane. She'll always need the cane but now she is standing tall. She is definitely more alert, less fuzzy headed. We went to a new restaurant where the meal for the three of us was almost $150.00. It was good but not that good and she doesn't want to eat there again as the vegetables were too crisp. She is of the generation that cooked everything until it was limp and tasteless. After dinner we went back to her house and visited for a little while before heading home. Before we left she gave us a lamp that was broken and asked us to have it repaired for her. When we got home we plugged in the lamp and can't figure out what might be wrong with it. Maybe she just needs to plug it in to get it to work.
