We've hit minus double digits. I woke up to -10C/14F this morning. I swore I'd find myself a cave to hibernate in if it got this cold but on second thought, caves are kinda drafty so I'll just hibernate here at home. DH is still sleeping with the window open. Although, not quite as open as usual. I'm sleeping in flannel PJs, wool socks and a wool pullover. I have even taken to sleeping with my head under the covers. Something I've never, ever done before because I feel like I'm suffocating. https://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter02/PATTnosewarmer.html
I'm thinking of knitting myself a nose warmer and wearing a toque and mittens to bed. I've been a good girl......mostly. I'm asking Santa for flannel long johns for Christmas. It's supposed to snow on Saturday. On one hand I won't be able to drive anywhere as I do not drive in snow and on the other hand it means the temperature is rising. I keep hearing one of the puppies from A Hundred and One Dalmations saying, "My nose is cold. My toes are froze." I thought we were supposed to have mild winters here on the West Coast.
