I had a wonderful time in Nanaimo, visiting with Mom and Baby Sister. Thursday, DH dropped me off at Mom's on his way to the Duke Point ferry and Richmond where he was earning brownie points with PD (Professional Development) courses. Baby Sister arrived shortly after and the three of us went for Chinese food. Friday, Mom and I caught a bus to Woodgrove Mall and spent the day shopping. Well, I spent most of the time window shopping. I did find a pretty, white, cotton top for the Spring. I don't know how Mom does it. By the time we got back to her place my back was killing me and she proceeds to start cooking supper while I collapsed in a heap nearby and kept her company. Saturday, we went for a long walk around her neighbourhood in the morning. Baby Sister came by in the afternoon and we all went to check out the local yarn shop, Mad About Ewe, where I spent about $100.00 on more knitting supplies.

We also checked out some beautiful and expensive clothing stores where I found a lovely scarf to wear at the Valentine's dance on the 13th. Then it was back to Mom's for another delicious dinner. DH arrived around 8:30PM, visited for an hour and then we left for home.
I had such a great time and can't wait to do it again.
