last night was a battle with keeping Kraymer from scratching his wound - everytime he did he would bleed.
He was very whiny and just totally out of it, the poor dude...

Last night he was laying on his bed, so I decided to join him and have a chat with him. I said hey if you want to sleep here, please stay here where you are comfortable. If you want to come up on the bed, you are more than welcome. You decide. :0) He stayed on his bed for awhile then jumped up with me. YAY!

This morning I called the vet and said he was scratching his surgery site a lot which was causing him to bleed from it. I asked if I could wrap it, they said sure, and they even offered to do it for me if I wasn't comfortable doing it. Luckily I am prepared and had everything here.

Now my Kraymer has a green wrap around his neck. He seems to be ok with it, not bothering it at all which is great! We are off to the pet store to get more gauze, wrap, food and treats.

And no worries, after the free recheck (suture removal) in two weeks, we are changing vets. For sure!
