Tossing and Turning ...

I dunno when I last mentioned that R and I rarely sleep through the night with each other. With 2 dogs (a 50 and 100 pounder) and 2 humans (won’t mention weights here – hehe) even a queen sized bed gets pretty dayum uncomfortable, not to mention my current full sized bed! As of tomorrow, we will have a king sized bed, meaning we can share a bed, hopefully through the night, without one of us getting up out of lack of room... YAY! Although the past two nights I have been doing what happens to me a lot lately. Waking up at 4 am and tossing and turning for the rest of the morning til I actually get up. I asked R how he would feel about that. He said he’d kick me outta bed. HAHA I was like no, but you can leave. So I am wondering if we’ll ever spend full weeknights together! Time will tell…

Here’s a pic of the comforter set we decided to go with:

We washed this all last night and MAN I didn't realize how MONSTROUSLY huge king size stuff really was! haha Oh well.

Happy Tuesday!

I'm wondering if you get continuous full nights of sleep if you'll feel better during the day? Lack of sleep can really mess with your tude, know what I mean??

it was a waterbed and the cats destroyed it. we still have the frame if we ever want to get a regular mattress for it. so now we have our queen size bed. but its just a mattress on the floor cuz we couldn't fit the box springs up the stairs.

I miss my king size bed! I like the comforter set. and the king size bed worked nicely for our dogs, lots of room for all of us.

I LOVE our kingsized bed. It's the best! You'll be able to turn over and spread out and never even run into him.

Have you tried a tablespoon or two of Honey before you go to bed??? I have terrible insomnia and that helps me a lot. I take a tablespoon or 2 and then slow my breathing and just relax and it hleps.

Don't worry the dogs will learn to sleep sideways on the bed. Dammit da cat is in my-or maybe I am in his bed every night. And that is a good thing. Remember they only sleep with their pack (read family).

I likey! You are gonna love all that space. I don't know how you would get any sleep with two dogs on the bed. Thom lets his pitt sleep in his queen sized bed and I barely get any sleep when I'm there cause the dog is a bed hog. LOL
Enjoy the new bed and the new sheets!

I never allow my cats in my bedroom. I did years ago, but the cats always ruin the quilts and comforters with their claws. Also, I have a hard time sleeping with animal hair and all its allergy problems. Dogs would be just too much. I don't envy you with those problems.
