Animal Sanctuary and Back in Business!

This past weekend was soooo busy, but fun. On Sunday R and I went to Poplar Springs Animal Sanctuary. I adore that place, and it's not too far. Here are some pics of the animals we met:

This was the FRIENDLIEST little goat I have ever met. He followed us around a bit...

A pretty peacock:

And the cow that gave us kisses:

I love that place. It was a great tour...

In other news, I am starting my business back up. I will be training at my current bosses facility and still doing the dog walking. Exciting times indeed! I have forgotten most of what it entails, but I will get there... Working on the website and logo and stuff at the moment! I think my current logo needs a little sprucing up...

Anyways, happy Tuesday people!!!

Goats are the friendliest and funniest of creatures! I had a herd of them (French alpines and toggenbergs) when I homesteaded in Maine.

Awe.. someday I want some pigs and cows, maybe goats as well!

Llama kisses are nice because it's just a puff of air on your cheek. I was a little frightened when the alpaca rancher, a dear old friend of mine, told me that I was about to get kissed.
Good Luck getting back into the swing of things with the biz.

That's funny, I haven't been kissed by one! Sounds like an experience though. How have you been?

I am so happy for you. I have been kissed by a cow too and feel honored
because they usually only do their relatives.

I love animals, but I would have to draw the line at kissing a cow!!!

oh no, the cow gave kisses. His tongue was just like a cats! Only bigger.

Good news about your business! Kisses from a cow! Did you need a towel?

No, very dry tongue... And yeah, I am getting excited about the business!
