We had snow today! It didn't stick to the ground, isn't quite cold enough for that. But it sure was pretty coming down. I think I was the only one at work who was happy about the snow.
It was crazy busy today! It is the last weekend before Thanksgiving. The customers were all nice though, had many laughs. I did injure myself though. I smashed my finger against the stupid bag carousel. It wouldn't have been bad but I have a ring on that finger and it cut open my finger. So right after that customer I ran to get a bandaid from my CSM. Now we have all these proper procedures for injuries, especially if it is bleeding. If someone is helping you they have to put on plastic gloves. Well my CSM was going to put the band aid on me, she is like a mom to me at work. I yelled, YOU DON'T HAVE GLOVES ON!!! She called me a ninny and told me to be quiet. I was laughing and told her, I have to wash my finger anyway so I will just put it on in the bathroom. It was not a very bad cut but the way she acted, it was like my finger was about to come off.
Hubby stopped in on his way home from work to pick up some soups and stuff. He didn't come through my line cuz that is a no-no. I looked up for some reason and there he was in the line next to me. It really perked up my afternoon. Then I yelled over, TAKE ME HOME! Did I mention it was crazy busy??
I started reading the book, Twilight! OMG it is soooo good! I read it on my lunch breaks and get so absorbed in it that I have to set the alarm on my watch so I am not late going back in.
When I got home Kota met me at the back door. He asked me to bring in some snow for him. We actually had snow laying on the ground here at my house. He is so excited! Thats my boy, fellow snow lover!
Now I am going to curl up in bed with my book and some popcorn. Boy am I tired!
