I was so tired going to work yesterday. It didn't help that hubby and Kota were still sleeping when I left. But it turned out to be a really good day. I had the funniest customers! It was so quiet in the morning, not many people up and about on New Year's morning. One guy told his wife this was the time to shop at walmart, new year's morning. And that they should do their shopping for the whole year.
Kota is very excited today. I have to go in to work at 1:30 and he gets to go to his grandparents. He already has his stuff packed. His art kit and lots of paper, his nintendo ds and games, and his wheelie shoes. When I got up this morning, Kota fixed me a cup of coffee. hehee He knows his mama needs her coffee first thing!
My sister in PA sent us a Christmas gift. A bird feeder. Now this is an unusual story. On Wednesday when I was off, me and Kota heard birds singing. We have a famiy of birds who live on our porch. They have a nest in one of the pillars. I told Kota we needed to get some bird food for them so they could survive the winter. That afternoon is when the gift came! I didn't hang it up right away as we were having those high winds, but it will go out today. We have a tree right next to our porch that I think I will put the feeder on. I am not sure what type of bird they are. I will try and get a pic and post it so someone can identify them for me. I know they sing very prettily!
Well I have to do some laundry for work clothes and I need to drink some more coffee! I hope you all have a great day today.
