Ah Sundays, the day to relax and take it easy. And I have off work today! My plans include doing some crocheting, watching movies, take a nap and later daughter is coming over for dinner.
Friday we had a snow squall. It was snowing like a blizzard but not really sticking to the ground. It was beautiful though! Kota was thrilled. I took him to his grandparents friday as I had to work and Stormy was not here to watch him. Kota had a blast. My stepson and Stormy have a 'puppy' they brought with them from Texas. He looks like he has some shepherd in him and he is already huge, at 6 months! Kota is his favorite play toy. The two of them just ran and played outside. The dog is kept at kota's grandparents as we aren't allowed to have pets here. But he has a huge fenced in yard to play there. The dog is so silly though. Kota has taken his wheelie shoes and went to roller skate on the sidewalk. My inlaws have a cat cage so the cats can get outside but still be protected. There is a little cat door in their kitchen. That silly dog some how was more than halfway out that door, sitting on the shelf outside waiting for his boy to come back. It was so cute!
It is very quiet at work and yesterday just dragged by. I still managed to have fun and pick on people though. My favorite CSM kept trying to send me on breaks cuz she thought I had been there all day. I told her actually I had been there since the day before and never went home. I believe she smacked me for that one.
There is a storm coming Wednesday and there are differing views at work on whether it will be a winter storm or just rain. So far I have seen a chance of snow for thursday but mainly rain. blech! We are overdue for a good snowstorm. January and February are typically when we get our big ones. I guess this week I better get some boots for me and kota. Just in case!
Tuesday will be a big day for me. The newest Vin Diesel movie is released on DVD!!! I can't wait to pick it up and watch it over and over!
Right now we are watching a Stephen King movie, Storm of the Century. I see he has a new book out and I am debating whether to get it or not. I used to be a huge fan of his. But his recent books seem to be all the same.
Now I just have to figure out where I put my crocheting.
