I just received an email from an old boss of mine. I had worked at a local university before I had Dakota. I worked there for less than a year but I loved it and they really liked me there too. My boss will have an opening in November in her department and she also wants to train me for her job! She will be retiring next year. I would be doing my old specialty, accounting. Monday through Friday, 8 to 5. It is like a dream come true. We have been really struggling with me being unemployed. And maybe I have been too picky about where I work. But I think at my age I am allowed to be picky. I do not want to work crazy hours, work every weekend, never see my family. And working at the college, they get the same holidays off that Dakota gets!! Not to mention I would be making more money that I ever would have working at walmart. We won't be rich, but we will be sitting quite nicely.

I just had to share this wonderful news with my friends here at mybloggers! I am so excited. But now I need to buy some work clothes! Goodwill here I come!
