It came a doozy of an electrical storm last night. I don't think that I had ever seen such lightening. It crackled from the skylights and windows and scared Rex nearly to death. He came and woke me up and I had to spend an hour soothing him.
I don't know what it did other places because I haven't watched the news today. It is rainy and cool but humid. Celeste and Red have a cellar and we are invited to use it but I had to go to the cellar so mu ch as a child that I am not inclined to do it unless under dire threat.
I bit the bullet and bagged up winter clothes today. They seem disgusting in the hot summer time. All those sweaters and sweats.
Ted went to the Dr. today. He is having a lot of tests, but the Dr. told him he thought all the problems were due to a much enlarged prostate. It was a great relief to us both.
Houses are just springing up for sale in the neighbor hood where we want to move to. Ellie called me last night to tell me about more for sale just around the cornor from her.
I am not looking until we get a contract on this house. Our house is an open plan and I don't want it again. I want a formal entry and a formal dining room. I am going to hold out this time for what I really want.
Bye for now. Jeri
It is an over-the-counter remedy that shrinks the prostate. Ed
says it is a miracle-worker. It works for most guys, but
sometimes not. Ted should ask his doctor about it. No
side effects. Ed is a strong believer in entryways so that the
entire house isn't exposed. He loves ours. It has two arches,
one into the kitchen and family room and one into the living
room. People down here don't have living rooms as we used to.
The family room is the thing. Ed still loves large living rooms
and has a lot of antiques so that's where they are. Keep looking
for what you want.
