Fortune Tellers

I had my fortune read in the seventies. She told me I would
travel extensively and have money. I didn't believe her at
all and then I married Don in l973 and he had money.
I have been to Europe 4xtimes and England once and all
those third world countries where you go on cruises so I
guess now that the new cruise will take us to Italy, Greece
and Turkey She will be right and I forgot that we went from
Spain to Morroco too so I saw the tip of Africa.

I don't miss the money that I had with Don. Money gives
one power and I missed the power a little at first.

Sometimes they are right and things work out in the
end and I would like to do it (have my fortune told) again.
It would be a very short fortune at 82.

I've always been the palm reader at soirees--used to be pretty good at it.But I am leery of having my own palm read. I don't want to know what's in my future.

I would do it again, but worry about getting pulled into some confidence scheme.

They told me that I was going to be Tiny Tim?they lied.Sounds great there and keep up the good work.
Still have more to conquer.

I have a friend who reads the Tarot. I met him walking his dog and we chat several times a week. I am not sure I want him reading my fortune. I never thought I would own a house. I never thought I would marry money. I was very happy with my first husband who was a dreamer, brilliant but not money wise. Ed is very financially savvy. Time gives one many lives.

I laughed at her about my fortune. Who knew it would have a lot of truth
in it. We do have many journeys in our life span. I have always thought
it was exciting to embark on a new one.

Fortune telling, like astrology, is fun, but not too scientific. But who cares?

They are both fun and I read my horoscope every day.

I wish fortune would find me! I have more than I ever thought I would as a child/young woman, but coming from such abject poverty, I know realize how little even that is! It sure looked different a few steps down on the socio-economic ladder.

We had it pretty far down the ladder when I was a child but I came from
a family of readers and my mother bought a lot of second hand books when
she could. Our bliss was to lie down on the bed and read because it transported us to another world. The power that comes from money is
intoxicating. I always think of John Edwards who thought he could
get away with anything because he was handsome and rich.

You will live to be 107 and travel to every continent within the next ten years. You'll be the oldest person to summit Everest (twice) and the first woman to hike the Appalachian Trail backwards. Get started today!

Let's skip the Appalachian trail but Mount Everest sounds good.

It would be interesting though.. I am afraid to get mine read. What if I don't like it?

How could it not be good? You are fortune's child.
