December 26

Tis the day after Christmas and all of a sudden we are looking at turkey and stuffing with a jaundiced eye. The magic and the excess are all over. The little girls were such fun but they have so much to play with, that only their most favorite things got a lot of attention. Ashley carried her American Girl doll all day and Pokimon Ranger II
that I gave Adrienne occupied her.

Adrienne set up her own website. It is called Awesomerandomness.com. I must visit it later and see what it is all about.

Santa was entirely too good to me. I hope he visited all of you. I got a very unexpected gift from Fredo and I will cherish it. He brought it back from Guatemala.

As we prepare for the new year, I hope to be a kinder, better, SLIMMER person.
Bye for now. Jeri

After 4 days of turkey sandwiches, soup, plain, I finally froze the leftovers. It's pizza tonight!

... turkey with a jaundiced eye? Ah, so you know my husband... who hated the Thanksgiving turkey! Glad, so glad Santa was good to you. No, I did not get the Roomba!! Boo-o-o! Happy New Year!

So, next year, have a 'traditional Christmas' just for something different! Hope you had a wonderful day!

Ed and I wanted our favorite couple to join us for dinner but the husband is recovering from major surgery so we didn't have anyone but us two and it was fine. Ed loves turkey so we had a turkey, freezing some for later, and I did a stuffing and string beans and mashed potates and sweet potates. I didn't buy dessert tho. The cranberry relish was enough. We don't do presents but he did say he would get me an ipod soo as we can get up to Circuit City. I haven't had a traditional Christmas, with presents under a tree, since I was in my late teens. I miss it in a way, but it doesn't preoccupy me.

Fredo is a wonderful guy. Last year, I got a Guatemalan gift. I've always wanted to visit that country. I love their colorful handmade items and their art. Glad you had a fun Christmas. Children always make it special.
And... hope your New Year is great. I've got to work on being slimmer, too. Love - Annie :o)
