We moved all the furniture we painted and fixed up to
Sara and Curtis's apartment and were pleasantly surprised
to see that they had put their rocking chair together.
I set up the tables for the family reunion and sorted silverware. Fortunately I have enough and we don't have
to use plastic forks. Definitely, we will use paper plates
and napkins. Cooking is relatively easy for the hostess.
All that needs to be done are salads, a large spiral sliced
ham and a cake.
With temps in the eighties, kids will be able to play outside.
Big news. We went to my doctor and Ted finally got some
decent pain medication and a stern warning about being
too heavy and not getting enough exercise. I wrote to
Senator Coburn about our experience at the V.A. and
complained to patient care about how we were treated.
I, if nothing else, got it off my chest.
I am still reading when I get a minute. Several people
have expressed interest in a book club and I need the
diversion ao I am going to post a flyer at the library.
The walks help. I meet all the dog and cat people.
Renee continues to be an extraordinary friend. She brought
over eleven folding chairs yesterday and marched them
out to the back porch. She is not attractive and makes
no effort but she is awfully sweet and helpful.
