It hasn't quite dawned on me yet. I spent Saturday
crawling around polishing the feet on my furniture and the

standing on a ladder dusting shelves and then watching the
Fiesta bowl game. Glory to be, we won.

I don't plan to leave the house until Tuesday when life is
back to normal. My neighbors didn't celebrate. Mike is
the only one young enough to want to and he had to work
all night. The private school behind me is closed and
Rex is missing his playmates. They evidently have to play
outside in all weathers and Rex loves their adulation.
They stand at the fence and admire and pet him. Sometimes I feel guilty about owning Rex because he really needs a
twelve year old boy who likes to explore and have adventures.

We slept late this morning and it is already one p.m. Time
for me to debate lunch and dinner options with Ted. It has
to be a pork loin roast or chili.
