the phone and says, this is Peggy and then puts everyone on
hold so he can watch all the phones light up. Then he says, "so pretty". I am sure that he works for Dell computers. He is advertising Discover cards.

My husband who actually went to Dillards today and picked

those "Peggy" comercials crack me up. Reminds me of the last time I called HP tech service and talked to "Brian" who had an east Indian accent so thick you could cut it with an ax.

It is easy to like Peggy because we have all gotten him at one time or
another. Ted and I die laughing when that commercial comes on and tickles our funny bone.

A very succinct list (which I appreciate). I looked for your Fay Weldon book you recommended, with no luck, but picked up another of hers. She's good.

She really is. This last batch of books I brought home were full of duds.
I don't know how the library picks some of them.

I love that commercial. It always surprises me when the guy says This is Peggy and the customer just accepts it, doesn't just go ballistic like I probably would. I decided we are being shown how to act in those situations.

I think making a thanks list is much more constructive and realistic than a list of resolutions.

I laugh everytime it comes on. It is so true of outsourcing. He just beams at all the lit up phones. When we had a Dell computer someone just
like Peggy answered all our calls.

A perfect list - I could put ditto mark under it - but as yet my husband picked my make up, up (yet) but he does collect my prescription regularly
