A little Bailey's Irish Cream in my coffee, please.
If you had 22-23 years of all three, you've been luckier than most people, I suspect. To me, #2 is the most important on the list, followed by #1, and aren't cats a good substitute for #3??
Always good to hear from you, Randy. Hiking the Greek islands sounds like a stupendous adventure!! No "women or pets," eh? Are you lumping them into the same category?
Are those bikes on the back really secure????
You're just like all parents...you like to watch your children sleep! Not that there's anything wrong with that!!
Apparently he has his father's flair for theatrics. He acted really contrite in court and succeeded in convincing the judge to undercut the prosecution's recommended sentence.
As bad as that name is, I'd wonder where that judge thinks she got the authority to re-name the poor kid. Stupid celebrity child naming goes back to Sonny & Cher. I suspect that when they named their child "Chastity" they pre-ordained what would happen to her...oops, I mean him.
I have no problem with charging costs to rescue idiots who drive around warning/stop barricades and subsequently require rescue. That is, if they live through it. But I can see distinguishing that sort of idiocy from the inept hiker who hasn't ignored "DON'T GO" signs, just has become stuck or lost.
A wise message indeed.
Hobbes is a real shutterbug!!
Suspicious black youths? Were they wearing hoodies? Better call George Zimmerman, he'll get to the bottom of it, all right!!
Six hrs is a long time for an outing... I'm glad he made it home.
I'll bet they called her "Patty Cake" in school.
I deal with the provincial, small town mentality every day, since I live in one now. It is simplistic, religious, un(der)educated, and poorly informed. My neighbor, for instance, has an unwavering belief in life after death in some heavenly paradise, a concept for which not one shred of actual evidence exists, yet he thinks the global warming phenomenon is a hoax, notwithstanding all the scientific evidence out there. At bottom, however, we all have our prejudices and our certainties, whether we live in the city or the country. Who is to say whose biases are the worst? We're all the products of where we come from...
Plaudits for your gardening efforts! I've yet to even attempt one.
