I'm trying to sneak in a quick post before I have to take my father to the dermatologist. He's had skin cancer for 40 years, and has to have the little devils burned off every year. At age 93, I don't know why he bothers. It's painful.
I've been lucky so far, despite my teen years out in the sun.
I seldom use or have used sun block lotion. My bad, I know.
Then I have to "go to town"--post office to hold my mail, library for a good book(s), tire store for lug nut tightening, Dollar store for a few trip travel items, bank for cash, drug store for blood pressure med refill, and gas! Whew!
I'd like to play golf, but I haven't even started packing (I leave in two days-Thurs). But I've done this so many times, I can pack quickly. Since I'm not tent camping, it makes things easier. I just checked the 10 day forecast for New England, and it looks like a mixed bag (a weatherman term I don't like--overused--but appropriate here). I'll ask Fredo.
Babysitting went fine yest. Johnny wouldn't take a nap, but he laid quietly for 30'. We played with "blocks and cars", read, went outside, etc. All this time, I had classical music on the radio. He doesn't get that at home. Culture! I draw the line at opera, however!
Okay, that's all the time I have. I'll try to squeeze in reading a few posts before I leave. See you October 10-11.
