Oh, the Irony

Happy 10th Anniversary Patriot Act. Yep, it was ten years ago today that Geo. W. Bush signed and act giving "authorities" unprecedented ability to search, seize, detain or eavesdrop in their pursuit of possible terrorists.

The irony? Isn't it the Republicans that are always harping on America becoming "Socialistic"? You know, "Big government-
get out of our lives!" Talk about hypocracy. They are the worse.

Which leads me to say that for the next year and a week, I'm going to do my best to ignore any "news" about the election, especially regarding those fruitcake republicans. No TV, no newspaper (I'm still going to cancel my subscription when it's due), no radio, no nothing. Warning: I'm not even going to comment on blog posts about politics.
Aussiegirls post said it all, and my comment on the subjct to her was my last.

On that note, have a grand "hump day". I'm off to play golf.

The abominable tea party, Cain and his 9.99 percent for everyone and all the

I am not following the presidential election shenanigans either, but I doubt that I could commit to not commenting on anything, especially by this time next year.
