How Big is God?

There's a loaded question for you. Really, how big is God?

Is he (she, it, whatever-and no caps) human size (in our image)?

Is he small enough to see minute things, even microscopic?

Is he as big as a house?

Is he actually inside the church, or looking from above (like a blimp)? And, as an aside, can he see through walls?

When he's watching a football game, can he see all 100,000 people at the same time? (And did he influence the outcome of the game?) And while I'm at it, I wonder why he didn't prevent the holocaust or Civil War or murder or.....

Can he be in two places at the same time? LA and NYC, for example. How about a bazillion places at once?

Is he earth bound? What about other stars, let alone galaxies? I mean, they're pretty far away (like billions of light years). Gee, I'd hate to be "out there" and ignored.

Do you suppose he's just hanging around, his eye on every sparrow? I wonder what his eye looks like? Can he really see ("God is watching us" Bette Midler)?

Do human beings really believe god is a fact? Are we really that a) naive b) superstitious c) ignorant d) faithful e) stupid?

I believe in God but not really the Christian God. I believe they have bastardize him to the point that he is unrecognizable!

In going back over past posts, I came across your reply. My return comment: Is this anything like Europe's Santa Claus is unlike America's? I'm just being silly, of course.

Well first I am not a big fan of this.So therefore cannot add anything to it.
I have no faith in any religions.Do I believe it God?yes,if they can proved it.
So will ruffle a little feather here and there.
You believe what you want to believe.Lots of comments there Randy.

It gets a little boring around MyBloggerstown, so I decided to stir the pot.

It is the absolute, the void, and cares little or nothing for either sparrows or baseball. It is perfect.

You have a way with words. Call me Mr. Blunt.

You do have an issue with this! I choose not to believe because it does not seem reasonable to me. Ted has a strong faith in God. We simply never discuss it because I respect his belief.

An issue, eh? I don't know. I'm just having some fun with a little thought provoking questions. I still maintain "twitchie" (to each).

I agree with Dottie.

Smarter than agreeing with me. Now I need to post a joke.

You posed a lot of thoughtful questions. Your final question would be an insult to the millions who do believe in God except that one of your options is d.) faithful.
A belief in God has nothing to do with evidentiary knowledge or lack thereof. One has faith that he exists despite the absence of proof- the same as one believes in love, good and evil without empirical proof of these.
By the way, there is no requirement to believe in God, love, or anything else, so why do you keep returning to this issue? Is this an internal question?
