I don't claim to know/understand all the problems that are facing this country, maybe I suffer from a "ignorance is bliss" complex. But one thing I think has happened to us as Americans is that we've grown tired, and I believe that is the root to most of whats bothering us as a country. With all that we've gone through as a nation in the last 8 years,the ups and downs..probably more downs then ups. I just hope in our quest for change that we aren't letting ourselves in for a letdown. Because I think that whoever will be occupying the White House for the next 4 years will find the going slow and tedious, and I don't believe there are any short term solutions or the problems we have now. In fact I don't know how much this next President will be able to accomplish. Hopefully we can place partisan politics on the back burner and be able work together to find real answers to placing this country back on course. I know when I am weary & tired I can get irritable, I hope the American people can show some patience with our new leader while he sorts out where we need to go, and the best way to get there. As a country we need time to heal, our wounds run deep, it has been a very challenging time in this country and now we must work together. Can it be done? Not a question if but it's a must..if we are to effect change in this country.
