The writer embraced life
He was young and had a plan
But soon life passed him by
And turned him into older man.
He saw his life turn
As the pages of a book
Everything that he experienced
Had a different feel and look.
He climbed mountains tall
Traveled the valley's below
Learning lessons
Things that he did and didn't know.
He learned how to love
And the pain of a broken heart
He saw life come to an end
Also saw it start.
Traveled the road alone
Sometimes shared it with a friend
But he preferred the solitude
All in all in the end.
