It's an hour until I get off work and get to go home. I am doing everything I can to keep my eyes open but it's not working so I think I will try to blog.
I took yesterday off. I NEVER ever call in sick but I really just needed a day to clean and sleep so I took it. I also had to go to an appointment with my daughter and her PO. That was a big fat pain in the ass!! They made us wait almost an hour and a half before we got to talk to them then another hour and a half with them. And the whole time, they didn't know I had taken the day off - they thought I was on my lunch and they were still slow as HELL.Â
I thought when she turned 18, all this crap was not my problem anymore but since she is living with me, it is my problem. She is not allowed to take the baby or go to the twinkie's house because it is so disgusting they think it's a health hazard and it's a drug house to boot. So they want me to monitor that plus the amount of time the twinkie is allowed to visit which is 2 hours a week while I am there. It's so annoying. She thought I would just sit back and allow him there whenever he wanted but I blew up at her last night after he sat next to me while I watched a movie and TALKED THROUGH THE WHOLE FUCKING MOVIE!!! (Really side note here. If you are that person that when you are watching something and it reminds you of something else so you JUST HAVE to tell the story NOW. PLEASE SHUT THE FUCK UP. It's really annoying) So I told her he was a loser and I didn't want him there except for the 2 hours he gets to see the baby. When he can get clean and find a job and uh I don't know maybe SHOWER then I may reconsider if I will let him hang around more. (These are the states recommendations also)
Anyway - that's an annoying story and I didn't mean to rant about it so I will just sweep it under the rug for now.
I did however have a fun weekend. Saturday I went to a silent auction. They served wine and I should never be allowed to drink wine because I cannot control myself and within a couple hours I was pretty toasted. I ended up at a party and didn't get home until after 2:30 in the morning. OH - and the bartender followed me home. He was a cutie too. Uhm, NO Janet I will not tell you more about that one!! J/K - I'll email you details. lol
I'm wondering about Christmas and how I can possibly afford it this year. I just got a $100 gift card from my work for groceries so I can at least have a good dinner!. My ex husband always helps out a bit too with gifts but I still feel like even 1 present each is going to put me under. With ex honey just moving out I will have to deal with all the bills alone and it's going to be impossible to do that as it is. I really really really hate Christmas. I don't even want to put up a tree but my youngest is buggin me to do it since it's my year to have her Christmas morning. So I was hoping we could do a Charlie Brown tree. It looks like this...
