4 days.

That’s how many days of work I have left until my vacation begins.  I saved all year long so I could use my vacation and personal days and take the last 2 weeks of December off.  Not that I enjoy Christmas very much, it just works out with the holidays and floating holidays so I only needed 6 vacation days to get 21 actual days off. 

My son is coming Sunday.  I haven’t seen him in 16 long months.  He lives in Alaska with his dad and step monster and they both refuse to pay for or even chip in on his plane tickets to see me.  This,  by the way is illegal, but for me to fight it is expensive and damaging to him so I save my money and get him here when I can. This trip cost over $1,400.00.  My friends chipped in as a present to me so I only paid about $500 of it though.  Yes, that is how amazing my friends are. 

2 Months.

That is how long I have been with my girlfriend.  What is so different about our relationship is that we were best friends for 10 years.  So you know how when you first start seeing someone, you put up a front about who you are or want them to think about you?  The beginning is getting to know each other and finding out things.  Well, she and I already know everything about each other better than anyone.  So there is none of that with us.  We just are.  And it’s great.  I love her.

7 Hours.

That is how long I have to wait to fill my tummy with delicious Sushi for dinner.  I LOVE sushi.  What is strange about this is if you asked me a year and  a half ago I would have told you I hated it.  But last year I dated a girl for a few months that loved it so I would take her to a sushi place by my house and get something else while she ate the sushi.  Then one day I asked to try it and WHAM!  What the hell have I been missing?  This stuff is GOOD!  Mmmm getting hungry just thinking about it.
