Over a Week!

And still no smoking... SWEEEEEEET! I am proud of myself. And I am really liking my electronic ciggie. It's a lifesaver.

We went to a hockey game (Caps!)Monday night with a few friends for our Valentines Day (a day early). It was a LOT of fun! Ron also got me some gorgeous long stem red roses. I am a lucky girl indeed! We also went to dinner in DC on Monday night, to a really nice Greek restaurant. Lots of Mezze (small plates) to choose from, and plenty of veggie options. Perfect! After the game we stopped to get a drink at a Cuban place... the drinks (I had sangria) were good but I don't know how Cuban Sangria is. hehe

For Valentines day I got Ron a Green Bay Packers snuggie. It also folds into a pillow. He put it on immediately - so I guess I Did good? ha

I leave Fri (bus) taking 24 hours to arrive! Ugh. Then leave at 6 PM Sat. for another 24 hrs return. Double ugh. All for 8hrs "rally" time. Cost is $100, exluding food. Sleeping on a bus? Triple ugh! What am I thinking?

it's only a couple miles... how long will you be there though? Seems like it will have to be a quick trip if it's all in the same day!

Congrats! You can do it. By the way, I'll be in DC on March 24 for a "Reason Rally". Busing in for the day. Should be fun.

I am sure you will have fun! What part of DC? I will be in NY that weekend visiting family, or I would have tried to find you! Sounds very quick though.

It gets better every day.Beside you will not get wrinkle skin from the smoke when you get older.This smoke free will keep your skin glowing.Does RA smoke/

He smoked mostly because I did this past year... He would only smoke occasionally with me on weekends... he's running a half marathon next weekend so he's pretty happy I am done with it as well.

I quit smoking a long time ago, and as hard as it was, after I had Day 1 I refused to give it up for anything and have to start over! Be proud, be very proud, it is a tough habit to break!

I feel as though my lungs are clearer, my couch has mostly gone away. I am very happy with my accomplishment thus far.
